CityMD Long Beach Urgent Care - Long Island

EVERY time I go to ANY CityMD location I have an EXTREME hard time getting antibiotics!!! I also only go here as a LAST RESORT when my PCP is closed which they have been all week unfortunately so I had to come here bc I have been sick all week & NEEDED meds. I have had green & yellow mucus & I knew I needed antibiotics to get better since all OTC meds were NOT working which I had told the dr, but the drs refused like they always do in not giving me antibiotics & claiming I am “not” sick when I am in fact DEFINITELY sick! They told me to “google” if green & yellow mucus is a good indicator of telling when you’re sick & they said that it’s false & that so many people believe that & that it’s actually not true. I have been to CityMD Long Beach Urgent care twice in the last month. Once for a fractured wrist accident in December, and most recently for an infected toe. The caliber of care at this location is professional and efficient. Most significantly, the Doctor who examined my infected toe ... went way above and beyond ... and called me after (I had left) she had already provided me with fabulous care ... to encourage me to seek specific follow up. Her extra follow-up ... and altruistic concern, which turned out to be spot on. Not only did Dr. Reda prove that healthcare is still much more than a business ... but she burnished my appreciation for its (and CityMD's) magnanimous caregivers.

On December 24, 2025 I had to go here to get a pre-employment drug screening.! I was having an issue giving as much specimen as we needed. They were very busy. However… BILL.Weissman Was so professional so patient and so nice! I was stressing out because I couldn’t give enough specimen, but he was so supportive and made it easier for me to relax! The ladies that worked there too, were so supportive as well, but Bill is my stand-out person. He really gives a darn about what he’s doing And it shows! My family MD is in Bellmore, which is a treck and sometimes I need somewhere closer! ! I feel very, very confident going here and you should too!!!

Went in for a standard UTI check. The doctor and staff were very nice. They sent my urine out to some third party company. It came back —- I got meds. All good. A few days later I received a bill in the mail for $930 for a panel of STD tests I clearly didn’t order or ask for. I called billing to inquire and they first told me they saw nothing in the system but I have a physical statement requesting payment. She said to ignore it as it’s on hold. What a scam. Why not just use the correct billing code????? Stop scamming innocent people.

Nailed my problem (Flu) even though I can gotten my flu shot… Found the place very clean… Assistants at front lobby very helpful… Doctor very professional! Nailed the Meds! New biker man! Front lobby Kick fans!
