CityMD Franklin Square Urgent Care - Long Island

I come here all the time whenever I’m feeling sick. I’ve never had an unfavorable experience up until this visit. I was called in, all of the staff were extremely nice and helpful except for the doctor herself. I don’t know her name; I’ve truly never seen her before but the second I started explaining how I was feeling to her; she immediately was giving attitude and basically rushing me to explain my symptoms. Explained, she then asked me to remove my mask so she can take a look inside my mouth and the moment I didn’t do it HER way (Mind you, I’m sick as hell.) she immediately gave me even more attitude and said “What’s the point in a physical exam if I can’t take a look at you?” Excuse me? Even the person that came in with her to do the computer stuff GAVE HER A LOOK! She finished what sh

Would give zero stars if I could. My husband went in due to a sore throat and they didn’t even prescribe him anti-biotics! They prescribed a topical cream for STREP THROAT. Had to call them the next day to demand the CORRECT MEDICATIONS. Completely incompetent.

Stay away from this place. Unprofessional doctor Stemberga! She treated me for ear infection with 7 days antibiotic instead of wax removing procedure. I went to see an ENT doctor. He removed wax that clogged my ear and I felt ok. No infection, no redness, no need to take antibiotic! I’m very disappointed with this health care physician.

Excellent experience. The place is super clean. The front desk staff are totally professional and kind, even friendly, taking the time to welcome people as they come in. Self check-in process makes everything so much more convenient, if you can do it. Wait was not long at all (in before 4:30 and out by around 5:30, on a Friday). The doctor's assistant (Alyssa) could not have been kinder and a pleasure to deal with and the doctor (I'm so sorry I can't remember her name) was also a pleasure: professional, took her time with me, listened, explained everything clearly so that all my questions were answered and advised me on how to proceed from here. I left feeling very confident with the care I had received. I would definitely recommend this location. It'll be my go-to place, for sure.

slowest urgent care ive been to. its useless to book an appointment online because you will still get passed by walk-ins. wait time is minimum 1hr. very disorganized and unprofessional staff.
