CityMD Flushing Urgent Care - Queens

You gotta scan the code on the front of front desk person, in order to check in. They used to have these tablets on the other CityMDs a while back but things have changed I guess. The staff were friendly and were able to help me out. Wait was about 30 minutes on a Saturday afternoon which is decent. An actual Dr. came and saw me instead of a PA. I'd say my experience was good. Thanks.

Was turned away by who I assume was the practice manager for a simple request. They insisted it was not something I could do at an urgent care. I knew better, but didn't want to bother arguing. I walked to another urgent care two blocks away and got it done there instead.

They are money hungry. I went for an appointment and the rapid test came back negative and it was sent off to the lab for further testing and one of the results came back positive. In order to get prescription they want you to come back in to see the provider and get a prescription. They stated everyday they have different providers.

Went here to pay 25$ co pay even with insurance for the doctor to tell me to “drink water and open a window and let out the bad air and in the good air “ and not run blood or urine. What a joke.

So I called citymd to try and be seen today. Unfortunately I have a $50 copay. I asked if because of the government shutdown and that I am a federal employee if they could bill me and I could still be seen they told me no. Horrible. U should want to treat people not just want some money
