CityMD Elmwood Park Urgent Care - New Jersey

From the minute I walked in to the urgent care to the time I left, I was treated professionally. The staff at the front desk, the nurse and doctor were very caring and concerned about my well-being and making sure that I felt better. I definitely recommend anyone who is not feeling well to go there. There was no wait or lines. I was seen immediately.

Terrible location!!! The doctor does not help or listen - staff is unprofessional. The doctor is not well experienced and would not even look at my Mom’s leg that has been hurting for a long time. Told my Mom to take Tylenol for something that has not been helped with pain relievers. Would not recommend. Stay away from this useless location. Waste of time and money!

My daughter and I have been to this CityMD multiple times over the years and we love it there! The doctor has always done so much more there than at the ER and they clearly care so much more! Many people have commented on the Doctor with the cane, but she's our favorite! She's extremely caring. She's straight forward and maybe her bluntness isn't for everyone, but we appreciate it. If you really listen and observe, she just gets frustrated when people aren't taking good care of themselves. We never wait very long, especially for a walk in urgent care visit, and we are never rushed at all. The doctors always take their time with us, explain everything, and make sure that our questions are answered.

This place treated me amazingly. Usually urgent care treat people like garbage. I felt seen and heard and they addressed all of my issues and concerns to full extent. I’ve never met a more caring and professional staff.

I called CityMD yesterday to ask about the DOT physical exam for my dad and his team. When they arrived at the clinic, the receptionist discouraged them from taking the test, saying they probably wouldn’t pass because they “don’t know English well” and that the questions were “too hard.” That is completely false the DOT exam is very simple, with basic yes-or-no questions that anyone with basic understanding can easily manage, even if they don’t speak English fluently. It was disappointing and unprofessional to hear that she tried more than once to convince my dad not to take the test. Thankfully, he decided to proceed and he passed without any issues. This experience felt discriminatory and unnecessary. I truly hope the clinic addresses this kind of behavior, because everyone deserves to
