CityMD Eastchester Urgent Care - Westchester

Booked an appointment online and wait time was a little longer than expected. I was nervous because I have not went to this urgent care and had bad experiences in the past going to some but this one was so far the best. Came for stomach issues and was skeptical at first about this place. The lady at the front staff Tamia was very kind, professional, and answered all my questions. Was very pleased by the doctor there as well helping me get rid of my stomach problem. Would recommend to go here!

Brought my 16-month-old here on December 23 after sudden, projectile vomiting. I alerted the front desk immediately and was told he’d be seen promptly, yet we waited over 35 minutes while patients who arrived after us were seen first. The waiting room was empty, and earlier triage of a symptomatic toddler was clearly possible. When we tried to leave, my son vomited again. Instead of being roomed, we were sent to a bathroom. Only after I forcefully asked for help — while my child and I were covered in vomit — were we taken to an exam room. The provider was dismissive and unprofessional. When I referenced the delay, I was told I was free to seek care elsewhere rather than having my concerns addressed. Delayed triage and poor communication made this an unacceptable experience. On Feb 8th, I went to get the Covid test done for my daughter and myself and it was a smooth ride. 10-15mins of waiting and the antigen test was done. The doctor was nice and checked for flue as well. The place was not busy may be becoz we were there around noon.

Don’t go here for pre-employment drug screenings. The two women at the front desk were literally two of the most unhelpful and useless people I’ve ever met. One cited a completely arbitrary and seemingly made up rule about needing to come in 3 HOURS before closing for drug testing, which makes no sense. And then they said the “system was down”. Just avoid this place at all costs and do yourself a favor.

I went to CityMD last Saturday because of a rash on my arm that was getting progresssively worse. I was fortunate to see Dr. A. Ezeagbor, who quickly and accurately diagnosed a bacterial infection caused by a small cut and prescribed an effective treatment plan — thanks to him, it cleared up completely within five days.
