CityMD East Meadow Urgent Care - Long Island

I have been going to this location since they opened this was the worst experience yesterday, front desk is always nice and helpful the doctors too except this time. I have been battling a cold for a month no fever and suddenly developed a bad headache for two days I knew it could be sinusitis. I go in the doctor did not touch me she claimed the tool for the nose was too short to examine me and she said go for a ct scan to rule out a mass ??? I said give me antibiotics cause my nose is the problem and she gave me a hard time but she did put the order in After the first dose the headache started subsiding Today I’m headache free after second dose and no ct scan to pay for no reason. Please check the doctors you are hiring and the tools you need for a walk in clinic

I wish i could leave less than one star. I went in the girl said if you need help signing in let me know. She didn’t even look at me. Fine. After waiting an hour i asked how much longer she said i told you the wait was an hour i said no you didn’t tell me anything to which she responded well the waits an hour. At that point now im mad so i said im leaving she’s goes “okay byeeeeee” i did over hear her tell the couple after me signing in the wait was 30 mins. But again she said nothing to me. Im sorry but if you can’t handle people you shouldn’t work as a receptionist. I will never return there and i fully intend on further complaining about her

Came in to the most condescending, rude yet incompetent front desk receptionist I’ve ever met. She asked how she could help me okay fine thats normal. But it’s how she just would kind of laugh at me as she spoke like whats so funny? At the same time, i had to ask how to check in while she stared at me giggling. Then when I couldn't wait anymore and had to leave she said she would contact a manager but just sat there until I asked her if I’m waiting here or leaving. Thats when she finally picked up the phone to call. I work in medicine and I understand it’s busy thats not what I’m upset about. It’s being giggled at and needing to ask her to proceed with her job every step of the way that is bizarre.

Was told to come back after a tuberculosis test and that it would be 2 minutes tops. Don’t make an appointment, they said, no worries. Come back two days later when they told me to and was sat waiting for someone to sign the form after I already spent two hours to get the shot already.

I wish there was an option for NO stars.I was there last Wednesday with congestion,sinus pain,sore throat,etc.I have felt these symptoms before so I asked the "provider" for an antibiotic and steroid which have always helped before.She refused, said I had a cold and to use over the counter meds which I was already doing.I am 62 years old,I know my body.By Friday I was so much sicker,missed 2 days of work and an important function.A week later I am still sick.A similar thing happened to my son at this same location last year.I'll never waste my time,money or health by going here again.The aftercare here was a joke as well
