I went to this location end of last year for an elbow injury. They gave me an X-ray and the doctor said there were no issues with the bone and I just sprained it a little. And tbh, he treated me like I was being dramatic. I was really embarrassed because I felt like I wasted everyone’s time. I was still hurt after a few weeks so I took the same X-rays to another doctor at NYU, and she immediately noticed a dislocation. My elbow was dislocated and I had some cartilage damage and all the surrounding ligaments were torn. Mistakes happen, but it bothers me that they treated me so poorly. They treated me like I was making up the severity of the injury. This made me wait several extra weeks before I sought more help and it delayed my recovery by a long time. This was months ago and I’m stil

If I could give a lower score I would. My wife was not treated with compassion or respect. She felt discriminated against and was spoken to in an inappropriate, condescending manner.Understandably doctors have grueling schedules and moonlight at urgent care clinics to supplement their income, but this doctor was not happy to be treating my wife on this day. When she took her blood pressure and saw that it was borderline high, and expressed concern, my wife attempted to show her log of home based readings from a calibrated bp monitor. While trying to retrieve said data from the OMRON app, the doctor spoke to her as if she were a child with a short attention span, glued to her phone. Not the case. She simply wanted to demonstrate that white coat syndrome is in fact a very real phenomenon an

2-14 -26 - At this clinic in Astoria, the staff was very attentive to us, Thanks to Dr. Tenzing Sherpa and the X-ray tech. I have an observation to make. Before arriving at the Astoria clinic, we had an appointment at the Corona CityMD . When we arrived at 11:00am, the assistant told us the X-ray tech wasn't there , told me to go to Jackson Heights CityMD. So we went to JH clinic and the X-ray tech wasn't there either. The assistant told me to go to Astoria, This time, I did call to confirm that they had a tech. I think the staff at each CityMD branch should make sure that the technicians are present when they send a patient to another clinic. I would have saved myself money on Ubers and time.

Doctor comes off as dismissive and condescending. Seemed upset because I brought my child back a second day after complaining of ear pain and I was making sure it wasn’t an ear infection. Didn’t give any information what to do for the ear pain and was leaving out the room to end the visit until I asked what do I do about the ear pain? He was about to just leave without any information. Just assumed the information he gave me the day before should also be the same information applied to the earache but not actually verbalizing anything and how to minimize my child’s pain. Also acted as if my child was lying about pain to come to the doctor when she’s had maybe 15 ear infections already.

Terrible. My boyfriend went in for an xray on his hand that he injured at work. He was there for over THREE HOURS! Waited over an hour just for them to give him paperwork for work! The Northwell Urgent care on Broadway is way better go there!
