City Drug Fort Collins

One of the few remaining small business, family run and operated pharmacies in the state. Always an adventure when I visit. So many hidden treasures and entertaining conversations with Bernie and Barbara. For these reasons I will not go to any other pharmacy but City Drug.

I feel like I’m talking to my grandmother from eastern Prussia when I’m in here. Sweetest ol lady I’ve ever met, strong and beautiful personality. Every review for 1 star are people who can’t handle an authentic person. I can’t think of a better place to visit for pharmaceutical reasons or a legit human experience.

I ran in for one thing and ended up spending 45 minutes looking at everything. I got beautifully embroidered cards, black currant jam, chocolates from several countries, a wonderful stollen, even ciggies and the make up I came in for. Great prices on all of it. I need to go back for the sausages.

I am very excited to find and support a local pharmacy. I found small bottle of Advil Migraine that was the same price I would pay anywhere else. The sweet lady behind the counter asked if it was for altitude sickness. I said yes and she walked me over to these amazing altitude pills. Taking those I was able to drive the Poudre River all the way up to the summit and over to Gould and see the most beautiful fall leaves two days in a row! It's the first time I'd been able to go up in elevation and travel more than 20 miles since I got here. I love how she knew exactly what was wrong just from a bottle of advil headache medicine. If anybody thinks she's rude they should get familiar with her culture. You're just insulting a cultural differene, not being welcoming and inclusive and learning

If you have never been into Fort Collins City Drug store then you are in for a treat! If you have been in before, well then you are equally in for a great time. This conveniently located store is a pharmacy yes, but includes an abundance of seasonal and anytime European foods and drinks, with a focus on German delights. Advent and Christmas are especially well stocked times when items like authentic imported Stollen, Gingerbread and the like are available. Everything from German brandy filled chocolate cherries and German processed Dallmayr coffee to Icelandic chocolate bars and Swedish Lingonberry Jam are often available. Please stop in. I was impressed by the selection and attentive service I received and I hope you will be too.
