I recently had a root canal done by Dr. Zegar, and I can honestly say it was the best dental experience I’ve ever had. Based on past experiences, I was really nervous, but he made me feel completely comfortable from start to finish. He was gentle, patient, and explained everything in a way that eased my anxiety. The procedure was truly pain-free, and I left feeling relieved and well cared for. It’s rare to find a dentist who combines such high skill with genuine compassion. I have regretfully had my share of root canals, and when going in to have another tooth checked out, that regretfully cannot be saved, Dr. Zegar detected a problem in a root canal that I had done years before. I have had a number of endodontists since that root canal, and no one caught this problem. I clearly had some significant bacterial buildup, and while it wasn't an infection, it was clear that when he was doing this work that there was a significant amount to clean up. I could immediately feel a benefit from his work. He is out of network for my dental insurance, but very worth it. I would absolutely go to him again.

Dr. Zegar is incredibly caring, professional, and accommodating. Despite his busy schedule, he fit me in on short notice. He has a calm demeanor and takes the time to explain everything and check on you throughout the treatment. As a physician, i could tell that he genuinely cares about his patients. He did a fantastic job with my root canal. I would highly recommend him.
