After 2 terrible experiences with cortisone shots from another doctor, I was very apprehensive when Dr. Varacallo suggested them to me. I explained my fears and he assured me it would be fine. He was right! I went on to receive shots in my knees 2 more times and didn't feel a thing! He also took care of my plantar fasciitis and gave me the Iovera procedure in both knees prior to my replacements . He’s so kind and caring! He’s simply the best!
Excellent care, great personality, listens when a patient speaks, comfortable atmosphere. Would recommend.
what a train wreck this office is, after waiting for several months to get in to see this guy I waited for almost 2 hours and then finally had to leave because he was busy. I get there and the girl says we need to x-ray your left ankle, I said I don't have an issue with my left ankle I'm here about my knee, she says the doctor wants an x-ray of your left ankle, after going around for 10 minutes I finally got my knee x-rayed. A lot of good it did me because the doctor never saw me, At Penn Highlands you're just a number... Go to University orthopedics you'll have much better luck. M
