Update: 8/26/25 I know a lot of people say surgery won’t last and you can’t do the things you used to do & that couldn’t be further from the truth. I just had a baby 6 months ago and did CrossFit my whole pregnancy & had the smoothest pregnancy! I’ve done every sport since my surgery, wake surfing, snowboarding, mountain biking, golfing, running, working out daily! I truly believe keeping my core strong & staying active has prevented me from re-injuring. It’s been over two years since my surgery & still believe surgery gave me my life back. I herniated my back 10/15/2022 from a CrossFit competition. I tried all conservative treatments and I was in so much pain and my quality of life was declining. I need suggestions. I have done one ow back surgery and now I should do spinal fusion. Will I have pain after spinal surgery? What will be the most common pain my body will have after spinal fusion? This Dr is great and will do what he recommends. Thank you

Great surgeon. Extremely knowledgeable and goes over X-rays, MRI’s with you. I would never let anybody doing surgery on my spine than him!!

Dr. Neubuerger is a most patient and understanding person and doctor. My neuropathy is not reversible. Yet, I am always looking for answers. My thanks for taking the time to discuss and provide helpful information.

Fantastic Dr, my lumbar spinal decompression that I had a year ago is still 100% perfect. I had been in agony for 2 years before my surgery & now no pain at all.There is a little numbness in my foot but I’ll take that any day. Everyone is different so it depends on a lot of personal factors but I believe Dr Neubuerger will give you the best outcome that would be possible.This is not my real last name but it is definitely me that had this surgery & is so very happy, as I told the Dr, my world is a whole different color now!
