Our baby Girl was born here. Everything was excellent! We had exceptional nurses throughout our entire stay. From Labor & delivery to NICU to postpartum, We had exceptional nurses throughout our entire stay.

My father was st Christiana Hospital. He was in ICU when I got there. The care in ICU was very good. However, I think he was downgraded prematurely and taken off antibiotics that he needed. The nursing care in the ICU nuerosciences area was stellar! Then he was put in hospice while in the ICU because there were no beds on floor 6 hospice. Everyone was wonderful. In the morning he was suddenly mived to the hospice area. I was greeted by a nurse who asked me if the employees in the previous area had worn coats and masks which I said no. She asked me if my father had a wash out. I am not a nurse so I don't know. I am extremely frustrated and overwhelmed by the care or lack of care I have experienced at Christiana Hospital. At times, it genuinely feels like this hospital does not care about its patients. Many of your providers lack basic bedside manners, responsibility is constantly pushed onto other doctors, and no one seems willing to take accountability or step in to help. Patients are left sitting in rooms for days with little to no communication, updates, or meaningful care. Paying approximately $2,400 a day to sit in a room and feel ignored is beyond frustrating. I have been in and out of this hospital for over a month, and this experience has become emotionally overwhelming. Christiana Hospital has been my second home…lol ! The Doctors & Nurses are amazing. I felt like I was the only patient in ICU. All the employees are so kind & wonderful.

I still don't have the mental strength to evaluate my experience. The level of disregard and negligence will never be forgotten. I hope you improve one day. I never want to return to this establishment. 1,421.93 spent and I left without any assistance! This charge doesn't make any sense since they didn't even touch or evaluate me! As for the home recommendation, I'd rather not comment!
