CHP Urgent Care

I had a really bad experience with a practitioner here a few years ago and never returned. I was in a bind yesterday and was forced to go back and had the same dismissive experience. The nurse kept making faces as I explained my health history and current symptoms making me very uncomfortable. Every time I tried to explain my symptoms they would cut me off after a simple cough even though there were more symptoms and I kept saying I was in pain. Then the nurse practitioner that came in was less than friendly. After taking X-rays (the X-ray tech was the only friendly face so this one star is for her) the nurse practitioner didn't even bother coming back in the room-- she stood in the door way and told me she could call me in 1 of 2 medications. The women checking us is was so incredibly rude. They didn't activate my daughter insurance, that is under my same group ID. She told me to go to member services and see if they can fix it. When I asked if she needed to cancel the appointment we had, which was 15min til- she said yes. I asked if she could wait until after we go to member services upstairs. She laughed and said "they can't do that in time." Well, guess what. They did. And when I returned with the updated member ID for my daughter her and another woman in the check in area began whispering about how that's not possible. I was advised by member services they were getting her account activated and it would be only a few minutes for that update to be seen. CHP Urgent Care Tallahassee Fl.. is Simply the Best. I had to go to urgent care last night and Dr Krista Rankin & staff were just excellent. I’ve been to urgent care a couple of times and all were the same “above exceptional” the Dr was compassionate, professional & very thorough. She & the staff deserve a big Thank You! Literally the worst experience I've ever had at Urgent Care!! Since when do the doctors ask sick patients, "So, what do you want out this visit"? Seriously? I dont know, but I bet Captain Obvious would say a diagnosis would be a good start!! Then the girl doing the nose swabs... She definitely needs some remedial training. Last I knew, the swab was supposed to actually swab the inside of the nasal cavities, not just be inserted and go through the motions.. Who knows, maybe it captured enough air!!

Horrible people. The two old ladies at the front were insanely rude for no reason at all. We were just there to have my 9 year old daughter seen for a sickness she'd been dealing with for a week. No compassion, no urgency, just remarkably horrible human beings. They do not care about people whatsoever. Truly shameful.
