Children's Wellness Center

Children Wellness Center in Sandy Springs is an excellent place for kids’ healthcare. The staff is always friendly and welcoming, and both the nurses and doctors are great with children. They take time to listen, explain everything clearly, and make sure the little ones feel comfortable. The clinic is clean, organized, and very child-friendly. Highly recommend this place to any parents looking for quality pediatric care!

Amazing service and care at CWC. We are in the area for a short time for work and needed to get my son’s 18 month checkup and vaccines. Dr Kelsey Herbert was so incredibly kind, patient, thorough and knowledgeable that I wish we could have her as our son’s paediatrician forever! All of the staff at the clinic were truly so kind and welcoming, it felt like we had been coming here for years. It’s not a quick and easy decision trying to find the right provider for your child and I did a lot of research on clinics in the area. I’m so glad I came here. Thanks again to Children’s Wellness Center!

We have been here since 2018 with my 2 kids from the day they were born and have primarily seen Dr. Mekelburg (whose name I always spell wrong - but I looked it up this time, sorry girl..dr.girl that is). We adore her and her staff. The front office has had a bit of a rotation in the 7 years we've been there but honestly they've never been anything but, at bare minimum, professional. Which is exactly what I would want in any sort of medical provider. Even when we've had issues with insurance and billing that took a while to resolve, the billing staff was honest, helpful and responsive. Beyond that though, several of the nurses still know at least one of my kids by name and face even if they are with another provider other than Dr. Mekelburg. I can't say enough good things about Children's Wellness Center and Dr. Mekelburg! As a mom of three boys, finding a pediatrician who truly listens and takes the time to address all our concerns is priceless. Dr. Mekelburg is incredibly thorough, compassionate, and attentive, making sure my kids feel comfortable and well-cared for at every visit. Her calm demeanor and thoughtful approach have earned our trust completely. The staff at the center is equally impressive—always responsive, friendly, and efficient. I never feel rushed during appointments, and they always follow up promptly with any questions or information we need. It's such a relief knowing my children are in such capable hands! Highly recommend this practice to any parent looking for a top-notch pediatrician!
