Children's Specialized Hospital Inpatient Hospital – New Brunswick

Our experience at Children’s Specialized Hospital inpatient rehab was wonderful. My daughter was treated with kindness, compassion, and respect by everyone on the team. The wound care nurse was gentle, patient, and incredibly caring. The social worker was very helpful and supportive, guiding us through everything. Carly (PT) and Hannah (OT) were exceptional. They made therapy fun, encouraging, and challenging in the best way. Their expertise, patience, and dedication helped my daughter gain strength, confidence, and independence every day. She looked forward to each session and made amazing progress. She also had so much fun in recreation therapy, which brought joy and smiles throughout her stay. Seidel Family

This place is not what I expected. My son came here with a brain injury and Dr. Y insisted of helping him did the opposite. He doesn’t listen to parents. I had concerns regarding my sons over production of saliva due to injury and he did nothing as a matter of fact he said the medication I asked for would not help w out even trying it. Due to my son holding on to saliva he got pneumonia and is regressing instead of progressing. He also had seizures while being here because he stopped his meds before time without consulting a neuro or doing further test. He gives me a push back for everything I suggested. I never left my son’s side because I lost trust in this place. He did not receive the care he needed and I’m looking forward to doing out patient therapy and taking my son home. There are

My son and myself experience at Children’s specialized was amazing. The security staff was great there were very polite and made us feel very safe. The nurses was really good with how they handled my son when I was not there I knew he was in good hands. The family faculty was amazing they made my stay as a parent comfortable and did things with us to unwind and take some time ourselves they were so helpful with everything thank you guys. Overall my stay was good while I was there.

My daughter had tonsil and adenoids removal done by Dr.Kwong last week. Everything went well. She is no more have sleep apnea. Thank you to all the nurses at RWJ. Everyone we met in the hospital was super sweet and helpful from front desk to the nurses were amazing people . They gave toys and provided iPad for my daughter to comfort her the whole time we stay at the hospital. Very gentle to give medicine and checked up. I can’t thanks enough for the doctors who helped my daughter breathe normally and she’s only 3. I was so worried about those bad reviews, but it turned out so good.

This hospital treated my daughter Sophia for her very serious seizure on the ventilator. The nurses were amazing compared to other hospitals. The doctors kept me informed and were knowledgeable. I would definitely recommend.
