We were referred here for labs yesterday. We arrived at 4pm and were welcomed with warmth. The front desk was very kind and upbeat. They lady who did my kids labs was so kind and respectful, as was the gentleman who greeted us. She was able to get labs for my kid on first try without any issues, the reason for our visit, while being so warm to our family. They really love kids here and it shows. I hope they are recognized for their passion for familys and children. The combination of warmth and professionalism is spot on.
Everyone was sooo nice & professional. I am beyond grateful my son’s pediatrician referred us to Dr.Kitchens. I tried to remember each staff member name . But I do remember Mrs.Patricia ! Wonderful service . 10 stars
Once the baby was seen, everything went well and our son was handled with care, but the disregard for our(parents) time and effort is insane. We were told to be here at 5:45am for an outpatient procedure and the baby wasn't seen till 7:29am. Mind you that the child cannot have anything to drink or eat. I also didn't come up with the timeline, every single nurse that came in said you'll be out in a few and home by 7-7:30 so my expectations were set by the staff. I asked what the delay was and was pretty much told "we overbooked" akin to airlines. The lady I asked looked offended I shared. Mind you, if a patient is 5 minutes late, they'll bump you or charge you as a no-show. Honestly, they leverage the fact that it's your child to deliver the most horrendous customer service. We love Children's South. Our child has been seen by several specialists at Children's South. Every vist we have been treated wonderfully. They have been very through in a timely manner each visit. Everyone listened to our concerns and informed us very well of procedures and assessments. Thanks to ENT Dr. Smith and team, Immunology Dr. Atkinson and team, Pulmonary Dr. Poore and team, Orthopedics Dr. Conkolin and team. We highly recommend Children's South and will continue taking our child there in the future.
