Children's Healthcare of Atlanta Endocrinology - Meridian Mark

My friend drove here 45 minutes with her kids, to only be rudely treated and been told by the front staff that her son could been seen anymore because they were 1 MINUTE LATE?! Unbelievable. 0 care for the patient, seriously 1 minute it's no reason to turn away a 6 year old that has been waiting for this appointment for months. 1 minute late for them to tell the doctor doesn't have time anymore? I call it laziness because i good professional would never.

Drove 45 minutes, was 1 minute passed the time, receptionist took her sweet time to go in the back and check if we were able to be seen. (Mind you I had already completed ny check in online so no paperwork was needed) and the doctor couldn't see us, mind you that was nobody else at the lobby, and on top of that, they weren't even able to reschedule an appointment for me, nobody even tried to move their finger the slightest to even help me, all I got was a sorry your child won't been see today you get a call sometime to reschedule your appointment. It's sad people just don't care about patients or don't even want to work anymore. Very frustrating very disappointing.

The standard of care for this group is unacceptable. They are unresponsive to multiple medication refill requests, and they seem to think it's normal to make patients wait up to 2 weeks to discuss lab results. You can't even call the practice directly, all calls are routed to a call center where the only option is to leave a message and hope for a call back. When concerns were expressed, I was met with defensive excuses and indifference. Patients deserve better care and more timely communication.

This hospital saved my daughter and got her walking again and helped her overcome the struggles she had after a sever accident. She wouldn't be where she is today without them. This was in 2012 in their in patient rehabilitation. They helped her build on her strengths and use those to be able to learn to function and have the confidence to over come her severe injuries to her body ,brain and self esteem. Thanks to them and there caring staff she's grown into a strong individual who never gives up and strives daily to be everything she can and live life to its fullest.

This is not an office that will fight for you if you need it with insurance. With a diagnosis that often requires fighting and with something that makes you at all outside the norm, this is a problem. My insurance told me reached out for details multiple times and reported they never responded. Trying very hard to help my son because I only have so long to do so and definitely the wish is you have healthcare teams who care about them just as much and that is not what you get here.
