Children's Health Primary Care Fairview

We loved Lovejoy Pediatrics! Michael was great! However, since Children's Health bought them out, we have been extremely dissatisfied. The office staff is so rude (even more so than when it was Lovejoy Pediatrics). Today, I received a phone call to schedule wellness exams for two of my three children. When asked to schedule my third child for the same day, the lady told me that was impossible that they can only schedule two. The reasoning she provided was because of the complexity of the wellness exams. Mind you - I've been taking my kids for wellness checks for over 14 years. Are you telling me that the doctor will only do two wellness checks per day when each wellness check takes less than 30 minutes? We loved the convenient location and caring doctors of this place, however everything has changed since they have been taken over by Children's Health. This summer I took my two kids to get the sport physical forms signed by our PCP before the school sports season begins. I was surprised to receive a bill over $200 in October from Children's Health just for the PCP to sign the sports physical forms, even though our insurance has $0 copay for pediatrician visit. I called their billing department as well as the insurance company, obviously they used some code that was not covered by the insurance plan and the billing department would not correct the code. I tried to talk with the clinic staff but they couldn't help as they said the billing is out of their control. I would say this is totally

My kids see NP Michael and we have had an excellent experience every. single. time! He takes his time explaining and does a thorough exam each and every time. My youngest has had several appointments in her first year of life - both sick appointments and wellness appointments - and not once has Michael made me feel like I was overthinking or overreacting with my concerns.

We have 3 daughters and have been patients at this clinic since 2013 and had always been so happy, but since they have been taken over by Children's Medical everything has changed. Our middle daughter has special needs and was seen by Dr Lanman, once Dr Lanman left they told us they would no longer see her. We had no warning or idea this was coming. Left frantically trying to find a new primary care physician. It's not about the patients anymore. I do have to say that we love the NP Micheal Dehart. He has always been so kind and awesome. It is just sad that Lovejoy Ped. care about the bottom line and no longer about the patients or helping the kiddos and parents that have been loyal for all these years.
