Children First Pediatrics

We've been bringing our daughter here for 2 years now and have been very happy with the Rockville location. All of the doctors are compassionate and take their time with each patient. We're always able to get an appointment or talk to a doctor virtually. The waiting room never feels overcrowded. We had a couple of occasions where we waited longer than expected after being brought into the exam room, but would say that's a rarity. I often recommend Children First Pediatrics to friends!

Don't come to this place. They only know how to steal your money and they can't diagnose what's wrong with your child. Every month you'll receive new balances, seemingly out of nowhere. A balance of $2,120 will jump to $2,676.00. They charged us $556.00 just for calling my insurance company

This practice is the WORST! It's the most money hungry doctor's office I've ever seen. My children were going here for years, but issue after issue, we are done. They overcharged us and gave us a different amount due than insurance. They double charged me, and it took months for them to resolve it. When I call billing, I have to leave a message and never get a call back. I end up having to follow up several times before anything gets resolved. We also only liked one doctor. The "administrator" Rachel is incredibly rude and unhelpful. Do not go here! A pediatrician should care about your kids and want to genuinely help. There are far better practices.

Stay away from these scam artists. These doctors had no idea what they were doing when my baby boy was born. Not only they insisted that we only go to them because they wanted to monitor him they had very little to no information on to help him feel better. We’ve stopped going to them and found someone better and we paid in full for the 1 1/2 weeks of going to them. We paid out of pocket $846 because they didn’t take both of our insurance types. And just recently they decided to charge $2120. This network are scam artists. Again stay away from this practice as they have now shown they will charge you for anything and receive payment incorrectly.

Absolutely LOVE Children First. They are out of the way as I live in Damascus but we have been making our way down to the best pediatrician office for at least 13 years. Everyone knows our names and Dr. Amy is top notch. She comes to appointments ready to speak about concerns from the last appt and just picks up where we left off. She's wonderful with autonomy and reminding children about safe adults and asking permission before moving forward with exam. The office is very accommodating with multiples and blocking appointments for multiple children. Love the staff so much and they are like family. The office hours are flexible and the office is always clean and ready for patients. I've never sat in the waiting room more than 5 minutes. CFP is the best!!
