Childbirth Center - Orange Coast Medical Center

Only complaint is the nurse who kept checking me she rushed my birth and cost me a c section they didnt give me a choice I said I didnt want a c section and she said oh u dont oh well sign here with the Dr who broke my water and rushed my birth to a C section. The nurses told me to get up the next day after a c section which I couldn't because I was in so much pain! I was so woosy and had my top off and the nurse told me to cover up. I understand but they were just so disheartening to the birthing experience. Going in the future I go with more knowledge.

Very clean place the staff are very friendly and helpful. They have a lot of knowledge and what they are doing. I would recommend anyone in need.

Delivered my baby boy here June 2024 I had a scheduled C-section, the check in process was fast. The travel nurse and the nurses who prepped me for my procedure were respectful and kind. Me and my son were at the hospital for four days, I felt a lot of support and had good care from most of the nurses and staff there.

They blew my veins out in my hand and when I said "ouch" the nurse said she didn't move it when they were just moving it. they were supposed to give my newborn shots and did not but still put it in the computer. No one put in my breakfast order the day after my c section and I got my food an hour after everyone else. UPDATE: I had to return to this hospital for my 4th c section and I wasn't going to say anything at first but I need to warn everyone. They blew my veins out 5-6 times I'm not exactly sure how many but neither amount is good. please consider going somewhere else, I had to go bc the original hospital I was sent to was on strike.

In what world is it ok for an ultrasound technician to refer to your child as a parasite? Such a thought should never even cross one's mind. Pathetic and disgusting.
