The folks at CWHC do a great job. The atmosphere is very warm and welcoming. I felt comfortable coming here for my routine gyno, pap & breast exam. The person who helped me (Mary) explained the process in detail and made sure I was comfortable every step of the way. The process went a lot more smoothly than I had anticipated and a lot of my anxiety was relieved by Mary's patient and comforting care. As far as payment goes, they offer a sliding scale which made this an affordable option for me. You can tell the people who work here care a lot about the people who walk in the door and want everyone to feel comfortable and accepted. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone who needs affordable care.

One of the best clinics that I've been to, affordable, staff is cordial, doctors are knowledgeable and helpful. Very sad I had to moved out of Chicago due to the crime but I totally recommend this clinic.

I loved this place for several years. I went for gyno services and I really felt heard and cared for where I haven’t in other healthcare scenarios. I noticed in recent times communication was lacking when not in office. I didn’t receive a phone call back about a prescription refill until I called again a week later, not a huge deal but annoying. A few times a provider in our meeting would mention they would reach out later about something and I wouldn’t hear back, again not unheard of but not great. I’m not sure how closely related the counseling services are to the medical ones but I reached out for a consultation and corresponded with someone and set up a date for an initial phone call. Sat by the phone for an hour while no one called. Emailed within the hour- no response. Emailed a few

Failed to call in a prescription when she assured me she would. So when I went to the pharmacy they didn’t know why I was there. When I called back I got transferred to an extension with voicemail. I had to physically walk back to the clinic to get my prescription “called in” since there was no nurse practitioner there to write it for me and they weren’t picking up the phone. I asked her why she didn’t call it in and she acted like she didn’t know what I was talking about! So rude and you can’t even speak with anyone about how you’re being treated they only have evaluations at the end of the year when they apply for funding. I’ve been going there for years and have always had positive experiences (Toni and Julie are really nice) so today’s experience was really shocking and jarring. When s

I had the best experience with Chicago Women's Health Center. As a young immigrant doing an internship in Chicago two years ago I was welcomed in with open arms, availed of fantastic counselling sessions and had my general women's healthcare taken care of. I am moving back to Chicago in September and I am excited to have them as my primary health center. I am so appreciative of the work that these people are doing. The atmosphere was relaxing, and the staff were open-minded, non-judgmental and professional. I would 100% recommend to a friend. :) MORE OF THIS!!
