Chicago Health Mart Pharmacy

One of the best things I've ever done is move from Walgreens to Chicago Health Mart--the techs here are so kind, they always pick up the phone/call you back, and are incredibly kind and patient with slow doctors offices. Always knowledgable, always helpful; anytime I've had a problem with my PCP not taking care of medications/refills, CHM steps in and helps out. So grateful for this place! I've moved out of the neighborhood, but continue to utilize this pharmacy--the service is too good to leave.

It feels odd to review a pharmacy since it’s a pretty straightforward thing but I just have to give a shout out to Chicago health mart. The pharmacists are always so helpful, friendly, and fast! Plus it’s nice to support a good local business rather than a huge corporation :)

I have only been a customer for a month or so and am blown away by the customer service! As a person who struggles with executive dysfunction having my meds delivered is miraculous. There was some kind of glitch in the system with my wellbutrin this past week and it was set as a pick up instead of a delivery- I called this morning and the pharmacist I spoke to was kind enough to deliver it personally after her shift. Highly reccomend!

Chicago Health Mart is my go-to for quality health products! The staff is knowledgeable, friendly, and always goes out of their way to help me find exactly what I need. I appreciate their commitment to support the local community. Every visit has been a positive experience. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a trusted, local health store!

I was hoping to support a local pharmacy instead of WG, but I’ve had nonstop issues with Health Mart the last 6 months. On many occasions, I’ve been promised an action and a follow up by the pharmacist or a tech, and never hear anything back. They seem to not care to do their job until I pressure them in person. As seen in other reviews here, the owner of the pharmacy will try to charge you a price that you may not actually owe. Always double check your insurance coverage, because he tries to pass on his “independent pharmacy costs” to the patients. I’m beyond frustrated, and am now switching back to Walgreens, where service is at least slightly better.
