Chesapeake Urology - Franklin Square

Very disappointed and frustrated with my experience at Chesapeake Urology of Franklin Square. They are absolutely more about making money than they are about helping the patients. I’ve spent over $175 in co-pays over the course of FIVE appointments and I still have not received help regarding my minor bladder issue. I’m taking samples! At forty-three I feel taken advantage of from this facility so I can’t imagine how senior citizens on fixed incomes must feel. Wouldn’t recommend but we all have no choice since they are pretty much our only option, which is why they gouge people with follow-up appointments and fees.

I was referred here by my PC. When I called to request an appointment as a new patient, it was easy and quick to be registered by the representative on the phone. I was offered an appointment so soon that unfortunately I had to turn it down because it was "too soon" 😂😂 ...I needed a couple of days to request time off work and it was something that was ok waiting another few days if needed. Basically, I was seen within a couple of days. If I needed them sooner for a more pressing matter, I'm sure they could and would have accomodated it. The only issues I had were that they spelled my first name incorrectly and also entered my email address almost entirely wrong. At least my phone number was correct so I received the text reminders and check-in link. I was just not able to register online,

I had to have a uteroscopy with a stent and everyone from Dr shah, to the front desk and nurses, we're all amazing. Put me completely at ease. Feeling better already. Thanks again Dr. Shah.

Dr Erin I really appreciate you listening to me about my medical concerns. You are the very first doctors for all these years actually LISTEN!! You answers all my questions and actually you cared and provided me with information and answers All my questions straight to the point!! The staff were very friendly as well. You truly made my day!! since they deleted my previous review here is my review again: doctor shah was genuinely horrible and one of the worst doctors I have ever seen. I was in the emergency room over a week ago and went to Dr. Shah as a follow-up appointment considering my condition did not see any improvement. When I arrived at the office the receptionist staff and nurses were very kind (the only redeeming quality about my visit) but once I was seen by doctor anup shah it all went downhill. He told me "your ultrasound from the hospital looks fine" and then pretty much left it at that. He did an examination on me which lasted about 15 seconds to which he then suggested my issue may be swelling or an infection. Which by his very own clinical notes I looked at after my appointment, he indicated no swelling as wel
