Cheney Care Center

I was just in Cheney Care Center for Rehab following a stroke. I was so pleased with the level of care I received while there! There is no way I can possibly recognize everyone, but I was in 28B so you know who you all are. Even the housekeeping staff was so friendly & polite. The PT staff was excellent! Thank you to all the CNAs for answering call lights so promptly and having such great senses of humor. Thank you for the canine visits from Jack & Walter!! You all are the best!!!! Mary Chapman

Very unprofessional! Please do not trust these people with your loved one. They left my mom in the bathroom for over 10 minutes and tried to claim it was only a couple minutes. I came into find my mom in the bathroom, completely naked and sitting there waiting for someone to help her. I cleaned her up, dressed her and walked her back to her bed, with still no nurse in sight! After putting mom back to bed, I went out to confront the nurse, and she insisted it was only a few minutes. There’s no way! These people are disgusting and unprofessional. Please do not trust them!! Find a different facility if you can help it.

We love the staff at Cheney Care Center! They are all amazing! They have taken great care of our mom!

The best people, Kraig with a k the best guy if your worried dont be food is great people that work here even better rooms are nice. Really a nice spot to recover!

My mom was there for a couple years. She had previously been in another facility that was top notch. During COVID she had to go here for PT. Which they never did. They left her in filthy incontinence underwear all the time, leading to a ridiculous amount of UTI's. They mismanaged her health care to a criminal degree. She had kidney stones and had a stent put in that they FORGOT about for months until the ombudsman found it in her chart. Then, while blaming everyone else, finally hustled and got it removed. I finally found another placement for her but she was sick again. So she needed urine cultures done to make sure the infection was being addressed correctly. They weren't supposed to move her till she got the all clear. I just got a surprise phone call a couple days ago saying that she w
