Do not go to this place. The dental operatory room is filthy and caked in dirt, very unsanitary and a health hazard. I got my tooth cemented there and it came off a few weeks later; they said they would recement it for “a fee” despite the fact that their subpar work made my crown come off within a month. Highly do not recommend.

Agree with the others, this guy is bad news. Did a root canal and crown for me 2 years ago that I paid $1300 for. It never felt right. Went to him twice after and told him there was a problem. He got angry and stormed out of the room. My new dentist looked at the x-rays and said Charlap inserted the posts past the tip of my root, causing a fistula infection – indicated by the bump that’s developed on my gum. There’s no quick fix. I need to either just have everything pulled out and leave it or do a $2000 implant. It also took 6 visits to have the root canal and crown, way more than normal, and on the first visit he left my broken tooth so jagged I thought it would cut my tongue. I have had multiple great experiences here. I did some work at a chain dentist office that made alot of mistakes. They had drilled into a tooth and decided half way through that it was too hard for them to fix. Rick got me in and fixed their nonsense before the medicine wore off. He also has done multiple fillings, a root canal and a crown for me with no issues. Any time I have pain and call the office, they get me in really fast. They are empathetic, timely and overall pretty great. All these other reviews seem far fetched. Doctors don't hurt people or leave them stranded. They wouldn't be doctors anymore 😂.

As you can see I'm not someone who likes to post bad reviews, but this is one place to stay away from. I gave the office more chances than a reasonable person would, Billing problems that resulted in at least one person no longer working there... fillings that fell out after 1 day and more dental work that is in the process of being redone by another dentist due to poor quality, Read the other bad reviews, this is the norm, I would not even go here in an emergency, stay away your teeth will thank you!

I only had one appointment here, then received a phone call from them stating that “they no longer accept my health insurance & that I need to find a new dentist who does.” Smh.. The dentist I did see was nice and personable.. but I’d have to say that my over-all, short-lived experience with this dentist was just ‘decent’.
