As a 60 year old Black woman I've experienced medical racism my entire life. Doctors ignore our pain. Dr. Moo H.Kim actually treated me like a human being. He was compassionate and caring. He explained everything and I felt safe.

The staff are wonderful and dentists are great. However, they are always busy and overbooked. The dentists seem to be very limited, and in the past, they had to reschedule my dentist appointment- which I had a late day appointment because of my work schedule. Also, my child had an emergency, she had a chipped tooth, and could not be seen because one dentist was on a vacation and the other had an emergency all week. I couldn’t even schedule my child’s appointment for the following week.. NO ONe was available!! No other place accepts our insurance, so I had to take her to the emergency dental office in west Columbia.. waited 3 hours after my 3pm appointment, and had to pay $300!!! So what happens in the future!?? Will they get someone to help out? Will they close the office? No one ac

This office has great staff! Everyone was super friendly and took time to explain everything clearly. I was made to feel comfortable throughout my appointment with great care taken during my cleaning to make me feel comfortable. Highly recommend!

My mom and I had a great experience today as new patients of Chapin Smiles Dentistry! Everybody was friendly and professional. We both saw Dr. Alasibi for the dentist and Luis for our hygienist. They were both fantastic! Luis is very gentle while cleaning your teeth! With our discount plan here, we save a decent amount of money on our dental plan here, so that’s a huge plus!! Looking forward to our future appointments!

There were 2 patients in the waiting room with the same first name and they got us confused by not calling out our last name and verifying our identity. They did the X-ray procedure ment for the other guy on me.
