⸻ ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A close family friend of ours is currently staying at this nursing facility, and we’ve been very pleased with the experience so far. The building is clean, well-lit, and very well maintained. One thing that really stands out is that there are no unpleasant odors, which says a lot about the level of care and attention to cleanliness. The staff members are friendly, compassionate, and attentive. They treat residents with respect and kindness, and they’ve been helpful whenever we’ve had questions or needed assistance. It gives us peace of mind knowing our loved one is in a safe and welcoming environment. We’re grateful for the care being provided and would recommend this facility to others looking for a comfortable and supportive place for their loved ones.

If you care about your loved ones, then don’t send them here. This was my first experience with a nursing home and I’m unsure if this is the norm but I would never want to die in one if it is. Here is my story: My dad was admitted here for 17 days for short-term rehabilitation due to diminishing ability to walk because of his terminal illness. Immediately from the get-go, we noticed a lot of issues. When he would poop, they would leave him in his poop for 1-2 hours and not change him (apparent when we saw the severe diaper rash when we got home). He also is on a pureed diet and needs his medicine mashed up, and they gave him his medicine whole. When he couldn’t swallow it, they just left it on him for hours and didn’t follow up. He also was experiencing extreme pain and they didn’t give p

I went to visit a church member. The security person at the front desk helped me through the sign-in process—he's a lovely man. My friend was not in her room. The staff were friendly and helpful in locating her. The building was immaculate. Residents were all up, dressed, hair combed, and engaged in small group activities. Others were watching TV in their own rooms. Overall, it was quiet, and residents seemed content.

My Mom is currently staying at the Chapin Home for the Aging, and I couldn’t be mor grateful for the care she’s receiving. The staff are truly wonderful, kind, respectful, and always willing to engage in friendly conversation during our visit. The atmosphere is warm, welcoming, and genuinely happy, making it a comforting place for our elderly loved ones. In addition to the compassionate environment, my Mom is receiving physical therapy (PT), speech therapy (ST), and occupational therapy (OT), which has been incredibly beneficial for her overall wellbeing. I highly recommend Chapin Home to anyone seeking quality care for their loved ones.

I went to visit a patient and I was highly disappointmented in the treatment of that patient. From what I’ve seen , the nurses neglects the patients needs. For instance I asked for a diaper change several times , till someone finally decided to show up. Another patient nearby also complained to me that the nurse takes a long time to give their medicine. That is very concerning to me . You leave your trust in these people to take care of your loved ones , and they don’t even take care of the basic needs . Absolutely disgusting.
