The office was very friendly. The scheduler did a wonderful job working with my work schedule for future appointments. Dr. Shakoor was generous with his time, listened to my issues, asked me if there were additional concerns and then ordered the appropriate tests. I am very pleased and feel like I am on my way to getting some answers

My husband has recently been to the hospital where they said he needs to go to a cardiologist to get on permanent blood pressure medication. His BP was 183/107. The supply they gave him temporarily has really helped all his symptoms due to the high BP. My husband's insurance said they don't require him to get a referral from a primary care dr, yet THIS office refuses to see the patient without a referral. To go to a regular Dr just for a referral is more time off work and a longer wait time to get the care he was already told by a MD that he needs. If the insurance does not require a referral, neither should the practice.

I am so grateful that I found Dr. Shakoor. The doctor and his staff are very welcoming and understanding. As a health coach, I was very impressed by the doctors medical knowledge and how he took the time to go over treatment options and encourage any questions that I may have.

My biggest issue is scheduled appointment time and actual time when seen- It is often late by aquite a bit , and as said often. I also have things to do and plan my day as well. Also after 7 years asked me if my primary doctor was so and so - nope saw that doctor once for less than 5 minuits and ended up finding another, I have had the other ever since yes for 7 some odd years and you don't know this? A recent proceedure I think could have been called and planned a bit better as well due to my medicle history - Having to repeat a not so pleasent process was not exactly what I would call fun and believe it could of and should of been deemed unecessary. Dr. Shakoor and his staff are very courteous, helpful, and compassionate. They explain test results and treatment plans in details and answer all of our questions. They are truly awesome at what they do.
