Chamberlain University - Las Vegas

I live in the condos adjacent to this location. Every morning for around 4 years now a staff member, with a grey or silver Dodge, feels the need to burn rubber into the parking lot at 7:30 AM. It has been waking my kids up, and disturbing the entire neighborhood for years. We jokingly refer to him as "little pp man". I hope this helps you decide what nursing college to attend in Las Vegas. Update: It’s 7:30 AM on 10/31/2025 and they are back to their old tricks. It does seem this was addressed though because the person had stopped up until today. Too bad they want to continue being a nuisance, and seem to enjoy it. 7:24 AM 11/14. Guy just can’t help himself I guess 🤷‍♂️

Avoid Chamberlain University – A Money-Making Institution My experience with Chamberlain University has been extremely disappointing. This school is not student-focused and seems to prioritize profit over helping students succeed. Financial assistance is nearly impossible to navigate, and no one on staff seems to know who can actually help you. Academic advisors are rude, unprofessional, and fail to provide meaningful, pro-student guidance. The president is equally unhelpful and appears unable to effectively perform her duties or address student concerns in a meaningful way. Additionally, the institution enforces numerous arbitrary rules that seem designed to force students to keep paying. For instance, their proficiency tests are a complete waste of time – avoid them. They will fail you

This school doesn’t care about you succeeding, they only care about taking your money. Every quarter they purposely try to hold people back by changing the grading scales (ie an A is 94%+, B 84%-93%, etc), including ATI tests as core exams that are part of your grade (where the national average score is a 40%) therefore significantly dropping your overall grade, not giving study guides to students and bombarding them with tens of textbook chapters and other materials, and when the students go for help all they tell them is “just read the textbook.” If half of the class is failing and the smartest students can’t even get As, that says a lot about how terrible you’re doing as a professor and should change how you’re teaching your classes. Chamberlain College of Nursing has absolutely fantastic professors and they genuinely care about your progress in the program. I would recommend it to anyone. The reasoning for my lack of a 5-star review is due to the fact that it is still a new school and many developments are underway for improvement. I am so happy I attended this school for my BSN.

Had really great meetings here. CCNE Accreditation’s And Regionally Accredited! Definitely will consider them in the future. Only reason I went somewhere else is because the other school offers night classes prior to the Nursing Core program. Chamberlain does not. Sooooo many people I know would have went here but again NO night classes. Hopefully that changes real soon!
