Chaitanya Mudgal, MD - Department of Orthopaedic Surgery

I've seen Dr. Mudgal (and was once operated by him) for several different issues. Undoubtedly, he is an excellent physician, a talented surgeon, communicative and helpful, beside being friendly and a very nice person. I consider it as a privilege to be treated by this doctor; I completely trust this man.

Dr. Mudgal has been my sports medicine doctor since I was ten. I have seen him several times for a ganglion cyst in my wrist to which he has dismissed my case several times. Originally he false diagnosed me with “growing pains.” It was until after switching doctors that I was diagnosed with a cyst. I was dismissed because I am a “woman” and there is a slight possibility that my cyst will go away after adolescence. It has been 8 years since my misdiagnosis with Dr. Mudgal and there has been no improvement. Horrible adolescent doctor.

Very talented surgeon! He repaired a horrible break in my mother’s arm which included significant bone loss. He is always kind and gentle with her. Appointments are always on time and we never have to wait. All around excellent experience with Dr. Mudgal and his staff. Would highly recommend!

Saw him once , he didn’t agree with my ortho specialist on my diagnosis. He ordered tests. ,apparently everything is fine … it’s not . There’s clearly something wrong . The worst part is his office . I send them patient gateway messages , they call me even tho I specifically say use PG. when I do send a message they don’t respond. I leave a voicemail , no one calls back. I was told that the NP who I was scheduled with after 2 months of waiting won’t see me cause she doesn’t specialize in my hand symptoms. But then the NP messaged me saying she would see me . Either way appt was cancelled by them. This office is a mess . I have been trying to schedule an appt since January and have yet to do so.
