Chai Urgent Care - Garnerville

Cleanliness, courteousness, and promptness… I’m giving Chai Urgent Care 5 stars for each! This was my first visit to their office. I needed a rapid test for travel, and did a search through Solvhealth. Most other offices were only offering PCR, and we didn’t have the time to wait. I saw that Chai offered all versions of the current testing methods, so booked next morning at 8:30. I registered online, including Insurance card copies (hugely simple process…less than a minute). I didn’t have to fill out anything in the office…just showed up, waited till she put me into the system and set up my portal (maybe 2 minutes tops). I made a late afternoon appointment here on June 12 because I had an unusually intense cough. • The triage tech took the liberty of calling me and telling me that unless I took an earlier appointment, I would not have access to a Healthcare provider at all. I knew that was not true because I had talked to someone from there earlier who said I would be talking to one remotely. This triage tech was adement, but I did not cave and change my appointment. • As I had confirmed earlier, I was able to see a provider remotely there at the clinic. However, this provider was very unempathetic and indifferent. Instead of hearing me out (having difficulty talking), she cut me off and literally said, "I don't know what you think I can do for you." She sort of dismissed it as a regular cold virus. • On t

Reception is less than friendly. My son had a COVID test 3 days ago, and still doesn't have the results. When you call them, either the phone says "please leave a message" and then hangs up - without you being able to leave a message, or.... they tell you "the results will be on the portal". It was a convenient location, but would not go back or recommend.

Wow was I impressed with this place. All new state of the art equipment. I needed a covid test to travel and got my PCR test results back same day. Never going to slow CVS again. This place is a great location right at the cross roads of Stony Point and Haverstraw. Very well staffed, quick service, and next to an amazing new Thai place I strongly recommend checking out (Thai Cafe 88). I miss my old Doctor at this location but happy that I have Chai to take their place.

Usually this is a really nive place to go to all the people are TYPICALLY very nice. Today i went in for aomething really small i just needed a form filled out ( they already had my info in their system ) all they had to do was fill out a sheet. The dark haired woman with glasses explained they do physicals there but its 125 i said thats fine I just need the ppd form. Why did she go to the back come back & give me the worst attitude ive ever seen from a medical professional. I had already told her im not doing the physical here i just need the ppd filled out. She gave me and attitude then proceeded to talk about me in spanish to her colleague, thinking I dont understand( mind you im very nice i always make sure to Be Extra nice to people providing a service to me ).
