Dr. Gelband's professionalism, education, and dedication to patient care make him an elite oral surgeon. The Ocean location is comfortable and private and the office staff are very friendly, accommodating, and organized. All financial responsibilities, dental procedures, and after care are outlined and made clear upfront. The processes that Dr. Gelband has in place make the entire oral surgery experience simple and extremely comfortable for patients!
Dr Shah was very professional and took his time explaining everything that would happen . His staff was also very caring and kind . I usually am very anxious at dental appointments, but Marina literally held my hand through the hard parts. I feel she went above and beyond recognizing that I was nervous and I really appreciated that .

Had my wisdom teeth surgery 5/6 with dr.gelband. No bruising or pain for the first few days. Unfortunately had an allergic reaction to the antibiotic, so they had me come in to be seen immediately. The front desk and the nurses are so kind. One of them sat and talked with me while I waited a few minutes and they were all just so nice to me. A few days later my pain was terrible and I called to see if it was normal. Again they immediately had me come in and I waited all of 2 minutes to see the doctor again. And again the same girl chatted with me and was so sweet. I did unfortunately have dry socket, which is a possible complication. He called in some medication for the pain. The healing sucks but that’s nothing to do with the doc, just unlucky me. I really appreciated their kindness and fe
We called needing an emergency extraction & the staff squeezed us in the same day… she was so kind & patient. Dr Shah was extremely caring & did the extraction the same day. This office has the nicest, most caring staff!! I highly recommend this practice!!
