Central California Pain Management

jolie at the front desk is kind and friendly. she treats everyone with respect, no matter what they’re going through. she deserves more credit for being that nice even when stressed! the other women there are kind too. all real people just trying to do their jobs. the wait can be long at times, but it’s not their fault. this is a pain management clinic, and some patients are struggling with addiction, so it can be a stressful environment. even with all that, the staff stays patient and kind. the doctor however tends to rush appointments, sometimes just a few minutes, but jolie and the team truly hold this place together. they’re the reason it deserves five stars, even if the clinic itself needs better care.

This place is dirty. The doctor was rude as hell. Gave me meds that don't work. That I was taken off already. Perscibed meds that my insurance doesn't cover. Seen my chart for 2 seconds. Wouldn't let me speak. I would never go to this place ever again.

Stopped doing pain shots to the pain source in my back. Doctor jumps on you if you get sick and can't show up for appointments. No way of updating patient records online. No Patient Portal.

Both offices in Bakersfield are extremely horrid. None of the staff care what so ever. Just as mentioned in other ratings, they seem to treat you as if you are a drug addict... ooh and God forbid you have a surgery and have to leave their care for a while and try to get re established... they treat you even worse. If you can go any where else... please do yourself a favor and beg your Dr to send you elsewhere. Absolutely atrocious! Let me just mention Dr. Nweze specifically; she is a horrid person and can absolutely care less about her patients, they need to fire her. She will constantly cut you off when you speak to her, tries to walk out of the room as fast as possible, i just about had to chase her down the hall to get her to let me finish, it was absolutely embarrassing. Terrible care at this location the doctor is careless and treats patients as if junkies I'm a person with various pain factors and have been under Dr. Nweze care for over a year when Dr. Paxton just disappeared one month and there is a strong language barrier with her you can barley understand what she is saying and she always want to give injections rather than explore alternative medicine. She refused to bring me in after a Er discharge when diagnosed with fractured ribs and refused to approve pain medications and have been suffering for over a week and was told to go get treated at urgent care after two serious falls.
