After a very bad experience with an audiologist close to my house: I took a recommendation from a friend and traveled 45 minutes to Central Bucks Hearing. It was well worth the distance!. Sheryl is thorough, professional, personable, reliable and will not let you go until your hearing aides do their job. I would highly recommend Sheryl as an expert in her field. Plus she doesn't represent only one manufacturer. She works diligently to find the right hearing aide for you. She has changed my life!!

Sheryl is amazing, she is so experienced and up to date in the technology in this field it was truly wonderful what she was able to do with my Mom’s hearing aids to fit my needs and calm down my tinnitus. She will not give up till everything is correct. She gives you the best quality of her time , knowledge, understanding of your needs and her kindness is appreciated.. I sent my husband to her for a hearing test and he was just as impressed by her.. I would give her 10 stars if they had them, she has definitely changed things for me, my life has grown since my experience with Sheryl..

I am 47 years old and I cannot say how much things have changed for me since getting hearing aids. Working at Central Bucks Hearing was the best thing I could have done to find out where my hearing needs were and what could be done to help me with hearing and processing my world better. Sheryl does not pressure clients to get expensive hearing aids, and works with you to see what are coping skills and modifications that can be done to help support better comprehension and hearing. However, if you choose to go with hearing aids, I would say to do it. While I always thought it was not a big deal what I could not hear, I just missed out on people's conversations, I was wrong. Sheryl Johansen is a highly skilled, patient oriented audiologist. I have very little innate hearing left. Sheryl's extensive knowledge of hearing technologies and determination allowed her to find the right hearing system for me. She worked through, with the manufacturer, issues and taught me to get the most out of the system. I can now hear things I haven't heard in many years, get phone call and TV through my hearing aid each of which is a significant improvement. I perform better at work and am much more engaged at home.
