Clare is amazing! I highly recommend her for complex voice concerns. I have had a horse voice my whole life and she has helped me gain more control, be confident and improve my voice quality. Voices are complex and ingrained part of whole health Clare had very creative ways to engage my stronger voice including: therapy tools, stretches, movement, slow building strength and the permission to be silly enough to reconnect my brain to my voice. THANK YOU! I saw Clare in the office but hope to continue my journey over zoom as well.

I've been working with Clare Henderson to fix my vocal nodes and the habits and issues that led up to me having them. She is such a kind and wonderful person to work with! I feel like my ability to talk and sing has been completely transformed and I have so many new strategies and techniques to use with my voice. I sought help from Clare Henderson after I began having difficulty breathing while running and eventually, after three months and a misdiagnosis of exercise-induced asthma, I lost my voice almost completely, continued to have difficulty breathing while running, and was coughing constantly. Clare correctly diagnosed me with vocal cord dysfunction and chronic cough from untreated allergies, which an allergist is now helping me manage. After just one session of practicing several phonation and breathing exercises with Clare and her student intern, Mary, my voice returned. Additional sessions addressed maintaining my voice. I'm so thankful to be able to speak and run again, all due to Clare and Mary's excellent skills and encouragement.

My time spent with Clare Henderson was really valuable and enjoyable. I am a professional musician who fronts an 18 piece jazz orchestra and, using the techniques Claire showed me, I was able to clear up my speaking voice immensely! I would recommend Clare and this practice to anyone!
