My treatment of almost 20 years has been pleasant and caring, from Dr. Tammy and staff. I have been through many waves of treatment. It’s never just grinding your teeth! Treating the TMJ is the most complex joint to treat, since there are 2 joints working together. The stress on the body from sleep disordered breathing is tremendous, especially on the TMJ. That stress wakes you up at night, because you struggle to breathe. Yes, you may think that treatment is costly, however it can be life changing. No one can stay on pain medication forever. Yes my jaw still gets tight sometimes, but the days of severe ear pain are gone. Anyone reading this, please be patient, have them do a thorough evaluation and hear them out!

They only care about your money and upselling. If you have any questions deviating from their selling end goal, they get annoyed. An oral appliance is 4.5k, when I called my insurance company they scoffed, telling me that they shouldn’t be more than 300 max. Insane.

Not only do they explain every step of the process from evaluation to after care, they work diligently to assure the best fit and outcome of the appliances. They work with you to find a payment schedule that works for you. I had no idea the impact that grinding my teeth was having on my overall health. I drive a few hours to my appointments, and it is worth every mile!

Dr. Tammy’s office has been lovely in my TMJ management! Even with completing physical therapy, nothing made a different other than seeing her and helping to manage my jaw pain! What a special little place that really has helped me live with no jaw pain and enjoy food!
