Firstly I waited a hour for my appointment, everyone's time should be precious. The doctor made no eye contact which was frustrating and smelled like B.O. The whole office needs a desperate makeover the computers up front look like the big 90's ones and still use the filing system Update: I stated that I had lower back, shoulder, and neck pain. He wrote me a script for my back only. Physical therapy won't see me until I go back to the doctors and get a new script that says shoulders too because he won't fax a new one...probably because they don't have a fax machine. What a waste of time and money. Update 2: I waited a half hour in the waiting eoom then another half hour in the exam room for Dr. Eglevsky to correct the script that he wrote

I have been seeing Dr. Eglevsky for 2 years for a back issue/Degenerative disc disease. He has always been very attentive to my health concerns, and leads me down the right paths for treatments. One of the best parts of this practice, is you see the actual doctor, and not an assistant! He also takes his time when seeing and treating you, and never rushes! Lastly, his office staff is very personable and helpful. I HIGHLY recommend this office!!

You might call Dr. Eglevsky’s practice “old school”. I made my appointment directly with a live person who answered (not a recording to leave a message & they would call me back at THEIR convenience). I was in pain, but was able to get in within a reasonable period of time - I did not have to wait 2 months. On my appointment day, I did not have to wait long to see Dr. Eglevsky (I did not see PA first). He examined my back, talked to me & asked related questions. (I did not have to fill out pages & pages of questions). They have X-ray equipment, so I did not have to make an appointment & go somewhere else for an X-ray. He gave me a shot & said to make an appointment if the pain continued. The shot worked & that was 4 months ago.

I called to make a new patient apt and the receptionist was immediately rude and off putting when I mentioned I was a new patient. Then she continued to be rude when I stated why I needed to be seen. I told the receptionist that because she is such a nasty human that I would rather go anywhere else to be seen. I called 5 other orthopedic places in the Fredericksburg area after this and did not have a single nasty encounter with any other receptionist. This receptionist is losing this place business and money.

Doctor was straight to the point, assessed my son's injuries and had him ready to go in no time. We had to deal with a broken clavicle on a 6 year old and he was very caring, understanding and answered all my son's questions so he could understand. He seemed very knowledgeable and was very instructive and informative. Great doctor! Would recommend to anyone. I wasn't sure before because of the reviews that I was reading and I do understand that there are some bad situations that happen. But, I wanted to leave a positive review because it was a great experience and, given the circumstances and situation we were in, they went above and beyond to help us. We got seen right away, and we were given adequate payment information, options and explanations.
