Cedars-Sinai Urgent Care - Culver City

This has been my experienced which happened twice when I went here for my Annual Health Checkup which is 100% covered by my insurance. 2025 - I was told these Flu Vaccine, Tetanus Shots comes under preventive care and it should be covered by insurance. And now, I see a claim that it’s not covered 100% with my insurance and I have to pay 100s of dollars out of pocket. 2023/2024 - I choose other medical providers where I didn’t have to pay anything. 2022 - The doctor asked if you have any questions or concerns during the examination which seemed casual QnA and I simply asked 2 questions which she answered. But then I receive a claim that those questions come under diagnosis and you signed a waiver at the reception accepting that. I had to pay 100s of dollars out of pocket. What's the p

Intro: it’s says Cedars Sinai but the brand of customer service and active listening is to be desired. Pros: -some doctors and nurses are good. -sometimes the parking is ok. -closer to me than Beverly Hills Cons: -that receptionist at the front counter has a snark attitude. The last 3 times I have come to this place she is very uncomfortable to talk too. Even asking about billing information she seems to have a weird attitude. -the parking can be a mess. They only have around 7 parking spots and the rest of the parking spots are street parking. The parking is not great and they have this company next door that bought up all the other parking spots and clearly say “no cedars parking.” As much money cedars make, they should secured more parking spaces. -the nurses and doctors can be a mixe

Nice office staff. Pleasant space. That's why 2 stars. Our provider was completely without empathy or patience. All we needed was a medication form filled out for school. And it was genuinely urgent, because it was for a chronic condition and my kids needs access to it during the school day. But this particular location has a policy not to fill out forms, because "then we'd be inundated." Our family has had a rough time lately, and I uncharacteristically began to cry. He was 100% unmoved. I don't know if Jason Nizkad, DO stands out among his colleagues as being especially unkind, but I won't chance returning to this location. To add insult to injury, the referral he gave us was to the wrong department. But that makes sense because he didn't listen to me or care about my kid.

Yesterday was my first visit, and I could not be happier. Waiting time was minimal, and I received excellent care from Dr. Franco, who was efficient and pleasant. She put me on a new regimen for a nagging issue, and it is already working better than any I have tried before. I'll be back, as they say!

I visited the urgent care at 10100 Culver today following a severe automobile collision last night. Every interaction I had, from the front desk staff to the nurses, nurse practitioner, and X-ray technician was so tender. The team provided exceptional care. Their kindness, attentiveness, and willingness to listen truly stood out. While I understand that urgent care settings are often fast-paced and don't always feel personal, I deeply appreciated the experience I had today. The time they took to thoroughly assess my injuries and offer compassionate support set them apart. Although this location is not the closest to my home, the outstanding care I received today would certainly bring me back in the future.
