Cats Only Animal Hospital

We started taking our cats to Cats Only about 6 years ago. Best decision we have made for cat care. The staff is just amazing very knowledgeable, friendly, compassionate. Dr. Ben never appears rushed, always takes the time necessary for your pet. Dr. Ben is a very gifted vet.

If I could give Cats Only more than 5 stars I would! Over the past couple of years, the entire staff has gone above and beyond to give my two cats the best care imaginable! Dr. Fuller, Dr. Alice, Rita, and Sherri truly treat my cats like furry family members. I couldn’t be more thankful for Cats Only not only for their expertise, but for my peace of mind knowing my cats get the best veterinary care in the Charleston area.

This past summer I switched my three guys, two kittens and senior gal, to Cats Only and have been nothing but impressed. I only feel badly I’ve been having my cats slum it in practices with dogs for so long! The office is quiet and calm (no scary barking), you are shown to an exam room right away, and you can tell everyone is approaching the patient with cat behavior and comfort in mind. I never feel rushed, my concerns are always addressed thoroughly and never dismissed, and I’m usually the one who brings the appointment to a close when I feel my questions have been answered. Everyone knows my cats and remembers them, and in a world where cat veterinary care often plays second fiddle I feel confident bringing my pack to a place that focuses 100% on species specific needs. They did such a great job handling my cat and talking me through what he needed for his dental. They also listened to me and my concerns financially and we were able to work out a plan that gets the work done and also doesn't bankrupt me. After the appointment the vet took his time to talk to me and make sure I understood everything and was satisfied. I never felt as though it was devious or condescending just people who genuinely love cats. I'm about to switch all of my cats over to this vets office because of the special care the vet took when handling my cat and giving a thorough examination.

So happy I found this gem of a place! Dr. Fuller and the vet tech (I believe her name was Niki—so sorry if that’s not right!!) were incredible with my antsy cat. The receptionist was super sweet as well and went out of her way to schedule my other cat. The care here is professional and affordable. If you have a cat in Charleston, this is THE place to go. Also, the shop cat is an extra serotonin boost!
