Catherine Cheung, DPM, FACFAS

Dr. Cheung is that ever more rare doctor who takes the time to listen. She is professional, thoughtful and skilled in her work. My surgery went very well and my pain is gone. She has an excellent bedside manner and is clearly knowledgeable in her field. She was my second opinion and became my first choice!

I had foot ( Taylor bunion surgery on both feet 8 years ago. Then and even now and I still feel like I don’t have feet issues anymore. Highly recommend Dr. Cheung. Then 4 years ago she fit me for orthodic insoles that still fit great.

Dr. Cheung solved my plantar fasciitis that the other podiatrist was unable to do. The other podiatrist also recommended having my foot operated on for my bunion when all it took was changing my orthotic, while Dr. Cheung tries to avoid surgery. My UCSF primary care doctor recommended Dr. Cheung, and the physician's assistant at UCSF's orthopedic oncology department also said she really likes Dr. Cheung.

As am a primary care doctor of 20 years, Dr Catherine Cheung has been my top referral for hundreds of surgical and non surgical foot issues ahead of any of the large groups or the hospital systems. She is the best rear foot and ankle surgeon in the bay. She is an immaculate surgeon, professional and caring with unparalleled follow up. I trust her with my own family and my patients of 20 years who are like family.

This Dr Cheung is so unprofessional, went to see her because had a problem with right foot. She just said I had pain syndrome, due to the pains I was going thru. She never checked my foot or even open toes to see how they look. She just gave me Meloxicam 75 mg which did not help at all. I requested MRI but never got and answer from them. I ended up going to ER at CPMG stayed there until they found what was wrong with my feet. I had a clogged artery with required an angioplasty. I don’t understand how she has a license to be a Dr. I’m glad I had to find for myself my serious problem . Please never visit this place Dr Cheung is not a real Dr. Just saying upset at the whole situation.
