Bad, bad, bad place to go. They left me in a critical condition (I'm a chronic pain patient, and I need to take my meds daily) and suffered through widthdrawl and physically hurt my already damaged body over the holiday season. When I demanded help, I was dropped as a patient. They did all of my pain meds for 10+ years. If you're desperate, then go there. Very unprofessional. Go out of Pueblo for better care. You won't get the proper care you need at this place. Jmo

Castillo Primary Care doesn’t deserve one star in my book, they’re very unprofessional and have questionable billing practices. My father has been seeing Pauline Castillo since before she had her own practice for a lifetime workman’s compensation case. All of a sudden Erica the billing manager is requiring my father to use his regular health insurance and workman’s compensation insurance for the same visit, so essentially they’re double dipping and collecting money from both insurances. They have canceled and refused to see my father because of billing issues on their end. Now they have decided they are no longer taking workman’s compensation insurance so my father no longer has a doctor or medications that he needs. Had me come in without scheduling an appointment to fill out New patient forms, went over new patient forms with receptionist prior to leaving and had my ID and insurance scanned. I got a call the following day stating they needed my ID and Insurance and that I had missed 2 forms after going over them with receptionist. Very unprofessional! Simple fix, have new patients come in 15 minutes prior to appointment to fill out New patient forms...

This clinic has dealt with some unruly NP's (Nurse Practioners) in the past. It's never undercut quality care. I'm very pleased with how the clinic runs. Very attentive, concerned about your issues and help you as much as humanly possible. Professional, courteous and caring. The staff, they actually listen to you. No one in this town does that. All problems are addressed. Testing appointments are handled rather quickly. I've been a patient long before this location was up and running. I feel secure with the medical staff. I have many issues wrong with me, and I'm asked if I'm doing OK and what's changed by a caring, professional everytime I go there. I'm there once or twice a month. Check them out. (First I'd like to reply to Erika the reason they have you go in because you need to give all the medical history that is very important for good no great care. Also you need to bring in a copy of your ID and insurance card. I know that for a fact they get people in sometimes within hours of the application process. If anyone is looking for a controlled substance they need medical records with pathology before they hand it out like candy. Sick visits are typically quick and will get patients in fast. Where else will you be able to get in the same day or even the same week without going through that process? I think it is reasonable to have you go in bring information required so that they will try and get you in asap, however they have to say it may take a while depending on the schedul
