Cascadia of Boise

I had the opportunity to spend time with the team at Cascadia of Boise, and I was genuinely impressed. The atmosphere is welcoming, the staff are attentive, and you can feel the commitment to resident well-being. The level of thought, creativity, and intention behind the Activities Department and their programming is remarkable. It’s clear they don’t just plan activities to fill time ..they design experiences that spark joy, connection, and purpose for the residents. The day I was there they were dressed in costumes along with other staff for Valentine's Day. Employee support for dress up days really spills over to resident satisfaction and joy. My mom lived at Cascadia Boise for 2 1/2 years. The staff were good to her and she made many friends there. we would have liked it better if they had more CNA‘s to help answer the call buttons. Sometimes it took up to two hours to get a helper. The billing department was always very helpful as was the physical therapy. Many of the staff showed great love to my mom and she loved all of the activities there. we thank all of those who served mom so well.

My time at Cascadia has been filled with caring and encouraging people. The nursing staff have been caring and do a good job at meeting my needs. The therapy staff have been very helpful in me meeting my rehab goals. Activities staff have been fantastic. Alicia, Daisy and Joan are amazing people.

Excellent skilled nursing facility. The staff is caring, professional, and attentive. Therapy is strong, communication is clear, and the building is clean and welcoming. Residents are treated with dignity and respect. Highly recommend for both rehab and long-term care.

Daisy works in activities and has been amazing with my loved one. She’s patient, upbeat, and really knows how to engage residents in ways that make them feel included and valued. Every time I visit, I see her taking the time to talk, listen, and encourage participation instead of rushing through tasks. It’s clear she genuinely cares about the people she works with, and it shows in their mood and energy. We’re grateful to have someone like Daisy there — she makes a real difference.
