Definitely recommend for anyone needing a Skilled Nursing Facility. The staff was amazing from the receptionist, CNAs, RNs and non clinical staff. Everyone treated my mom with respect. Catered to her needs made sure the 21 days spent in there were smooth sailing. Helped her gain her mobility and most of all gave her INDEPENDENCE back!! Will forever be grateful for everyone here. If we ever need a SNF again will absolutely be choosing Casa Real. The facility was clean and we'll maintained. Definitely happy with the care!

I would not recommend this facility. I toured the facility about a month ago. Arlene was a sweetheart — she was the uplifting part of the experience. Unfortunately, Admissions was cold. I got the distinct impression they weren’t interested in helping. It turns out we may have avoided a serious situation. In the weeks since, I’ve heard from multiple trusted professionals in the community that concerns about elder abuse and neglect persist at this facility. I’m very grateful we decided not to move forward.

My experience at Casa Real was horrible. The place is filthy, black mold growing in the tiles in the shower, the food is horrible and not nutritional, there isn’t enough staff to help the number of patients i.e. getting showers getting their meds on time and the list goes on and on. If you love yourself or you’re looking to put your loved one in a place like this, don’t do it! Also, Genesis, I will not return any comments to you. When you should’ve helped me it when I was in that awful place.

"One of the worst places in New Mexico" this is what a resident told me as I discharged my dad today. The very few that do their best here thank you. All I have to say is do not take your loved ones here.

Before going to Casa Real, I telephoned to ask about visiting times. The gentleman that answered was kind & professional. Upon entering I informed him I was the person who had called regarding visitation. He directed me to complete the Covid screening, gave me my ID tag. I then walked to the nurses station and was approached by a nurse that offered assistance. She directed me to the room where my cousin was. I was pleased to see nursing staff doing various duties. The facility appeared clean and orderly. I hope any staff shortages are resolved. From what I observed, the staff in general were approachable and busy. Most people do not want to work in nursing facilities. However, the staff on duty when I was there seemed engaged and hopefully doing the best they can. Every patient deserves t
