Cary Gastroenterology Associates

I had a very negative experience scheduling at Cary Gastroenterology Associates. I was referred here by my primary care provider for a specific procedure to be done, and Cary Gastro was not at all communicative with the processes they follow. I have never been to a GI doctor, or any specialist in the past, and they were not friendly with the scheduling process. There was a slight miscommunication when initially scheduling, and I thought I had scheduled my procedure with them since I had told them that is why I was referred to a GI doctor when explaining my medical history. Dr Furs has been my Dr for over 20 years. I recently ended up at the ER for severe abdominal pain. His team was very diligent to see me for a follow up, Everyone in the office is very professional and respectful of patients, Dr Furs is an extremely caring about the wellbeing of his patients whom he treats with immense respect and care. He thoroughly looked into my records, explained his findings and validated the fact I am in touch with my body. I am grateful he is my Dr.

Very friendly and helpful. Dr A listened and acknowledged my observations about the issue I’d been having. She figured out what the problem was quickly and gave me something to try that should help. The reception staff was helpful and made everything move quickly and efficiently.

Dr Furs and Stephanie are awesome. Dr Furs is always open to answering any questions I have and relate the answers to logical and comprehensive rationale's. Stephanie is also great, any issues or questions I have had with appointments, medications, or help needed she has been very responsive and kind. Thanks for all you do and keep the telemedical appointments, it makes things much easier for a vast number of patients from the elderly to the young and anxious.

Dr Furs always explains everything so well. It is very comforting. Also, the office is lovely. It feels like the staff like their job. Everyone is friendly and kind as well as efficient, if I have to go to a doctor, I at least don't feel sorry for myself when I have go to this doctor. I feel heard and feel like the doctor really is trying to find the issue.
