Carter BloodCare: Hulen Donor Center

I have never given blood before but this was an excellent experience. The entire staff were great. Excellent customer service. They made me feel comfortable and they did not have to stick me but one time thank God.

I have had no problems with any of my donations. Very clean and nice people. I have donated at S Hulen for 17 years.

Janesia was being careless and ripped the needle right out of my arm. Blood was everywhere she was just laughing like a hyena. I should have listened to my gut and left before that when the staff was playing VERY SEXUALLY EXPLICIT SONGS on the loudspeaker, or when Janesia had to use a blood pressure cuff to find my vein. Where on earth does Carter Bloodcare find these people? What an absolute nightmare. I will not be back nor would I ever tell anyone to visit that location.

I would avoid this place at all costs. The staff was unfriendly and not very professional. My warnings about having difficult veins went unheeded until after they got the needle in my arm and went mining. Ordinarily, I don't mind needles, but after getting stabbed and then having them wiggle the needle willy-nilly in a vain attempt to strike oil can give the strongest stoic a moment of concern. Then due to bad record keeping on their end my appointment to return 48 hours later was canceled the day before. I called to clear it up and was told I had to wait two weeks because they failed to properly document things on their end. After my experience, I fear what a full professional audit of the place might turn up. My recommendation would be IF YOU HAVE TO GIVE BLOOD it would be wise to try

Payton at the Hulen location is absolutely amazing! She is quick, efficient and very professional! I didn’t feel a thing and have never gotten in and out so quickly! Thank you Payton! The rest of the staff was very friendly and helpful!
