DO NOT SEND A LOVED ONE HERE!!! My relative came in to the rehabiliation side. 76 days later they passed with 5 bed sores. (They arrived with ZERO.) The care was DEPLORABLE!!!! EXAMPLES:The patient deficated and called for help. NOTHING. They deficated again 2 hours later. Continuously calling for help. NOTHING. The patient had been sitting for 5 hours in their poop. I asked to get help. 1 hour later me/family changed them. ZERO STAFF CAME while I was there for 4 hours waiting to see if they would show up to change them. This happened multiple times. MULTIPLE TIMES. Food was NEVER correct and not edible most times. Staff could care less if they ate/drank and only received drinks at meals times, constantly dehydrated. Food tray always missing items. Physical therapy was erratic if

Such a nice place to visit. It's got multiple entrances at the same address. What looks like 2 separate buildings is actually one address, with a subterranean tunnel connecting them. Workers there are very friendly. The entrances are easily wheelchair accessible, making pickups and drop-offs quite easy for clientele.

I can count on one hand how many professional staff I have come across. I have yet to see a person smile and be happy about their job. It would be nice if 3rd Shift staff didn't bang on the doors as loud as they can waking up the residents, upon entering. The vibe I get is that people are either burned out or unhappy about their place of work. Call lights very seldom get answered

My wife developed dementia and was accepted by Carmel Manor for care on their memory care floor 12/01/2022. The facilities are very nice and the location on the river is spectacular. The Christian influence is a real plus as the sisters are always making sure that everyone is treated with care and respect. Since Tony Ughetti became director everything has greatly improved, including the ratio of in-house staff to contract, facilities appearance, food quality and monthly meetings with relatives. Although a good place for a loved one before, it’s now excellent and still improving. Highly recommend.

Warning to people that have loved ones at Carmel Manor……… there is an extremely large outbreak of Covid at Carmel Manor. There is at least 14 active cases on my moms floor with Covid. This doesn’t include the staff. Tony the director and the social worker are keeping it a secret from staff and family members coming to visit their loved ones. Patients are dying from this and the excellent staff team on my moms floor are being made to work ridiculous hours, the staff is unstaffed and unsupported by the director. The cross contamination on the floors is barbaric. The top people are making all the money and the clients are giving the money…… it’s about time the staff gets protection and the clients. The health department is involved. Please check on your loved ones!!
