PA Thompson Was my Gastro Dr for my stay at Honor Heath hospital Osborn in Scottsdale, Az. I received miss information from this PA that the formulary was covered, for a drug I needed to keep well and continue to fight an infection, It was not. I needed to get pre authorised for this med. This PA wanted me out earlier than I was ready, I was still having terrible GI symptons and my fever was up and down. I called the insurance company myself to see if it was approved and it was not. I needed to be sure I had this medication or my severe infection would possibly land me back in ER and back into being attmited. I felt this PA was not giving logical advice.
