Caring Hands Animal Hospital

Caring Hands was recommended by my primary vet when they were booked out 2 days. They got me in the same day and took such great care of my Shih Tzu puppy. They gave him a fully packaged treatment plan that gave me so much reassurance that my pup would be alright. This morning they also called to follow up on how he was doing which I greatly appreciated. The staff was nothing but kind and extremely helpful with my many questions. After my dog ate an entire bottle of vitamin D3, I rushed him to Caring Hands Animal Hospital in a complete panic. From the moment we arrived, Stormi, the office manager, and Dr. Hester acted immediately and with incredible professionalism. Dr. Hester took charge right away and walked me through every step of the treatment process. He carefully explained what vitamin D toxicity can do, what symptoms to watch for, and exactly what he was doing to treat my dog. His calm, thorough communication helped ease my fear during a very overwhelming situation. Stormi was absolutely amazing. My kitten showed up in our driveway Aug 30, flea ridden and skinny, limping with her right rear leg. There was a small open wound on her foot less than 1/8", that wasn't bleeding, and appeared to have been there for awhile. I guessed that was why she was limping. I called a nearby vet, but they couldn't get her in until 4 days later. When they did see her they gave her an antibiotic for a respiratory virus, flea and tick meds, and a shot for pain. The kitten seemed ok after that until 10/10 when she showed signs of distress and pain, limping badly on her right rear leg.
