Caring for Kids Pediatrics, PA

My kids have been seeing Dr. Castro for about 4 years now, it is so nice to have a doctor take your concerns as a parent seriously. The entire staff have been so caring and sweet it is refreshing to have an office that actually seems to care about our family. The other thing I love about this office is the sick/ healthy waiting rooms… they have one side for well baby checks/annual physicals and one side for the sick kiddos so they do not spread germs to the healthy kiddos. We have also seen the nurse practitioner a couple of times and she has been wonderful ! I also want to give the lady who does the referrals a shout out (Krysta?) because she is amazing and so kind!! Love this office and would not take my kids anywhere else.

This is truly the best pediatric office. We have been going to Caring for kids pediatrics for my teen since 2019 and when I gave birth in 2022 my son now goes here also. Dr Castro is a compassionate , knowledgeable medical professional and we would be devastated if we had to go to any other Dr. Thank you to the office staff, Dr.Castro & Christina in the referrals dept. this family appreciates all the hard work and care for our kids!

Dr. David Castro, is by far the best pediatric doctor at this office. I highly recommend him. I wish he was closer to me, but honestly I don’t mind the drive. Especially when I have concerns and I have that peace of mind my children are getting the utmost best care. I live off 1604/Judson. So it’s definitely a drive for me! I just had a new born, and after her father fussing WHY do we need to drive across town I explained how detailed Dr. Castro is. From giving me stats from the last visit, to actually genuinely caring. Dad totally agreed and understood my reason and didn’t fight me on finding a new pediatric office for the kids closer to home. Reason I pray this man is because my oldest is 16. Ive been going to them this long, and he’s such an amazing Dr.

Been on hold for over 30 minutes...ummm, is anyone working?? They were nice when I took my son but now I can't even get them to answer the dang phone.

Just called to see if they are accepting new patients and they said yes. When I told them my insurance, they said sorry, we are not accepting anymore Medicaid insurances. Shot me down really quick. So much for being in the medical field and caring for kids. My daughter is Autistic, and I was referred to this office to get a referral to Dr. Mario FIerro so I can get her medically diagnosed. Bad enough its already touch in this city for such resources. Their business name should be called Caring for Greed.
