CareSpot Urgent Care of Winter Springs

Staff is friendly, courteous, professional, welcoming and genuinely seem to care both on the phone and in person. They even went above and beyond when I called back the week after my pre-employment visit to see if I could obtain a copy of my blood TB test that was performed and they were only too happy to help. I know if a loved one or myself need urgent care, this is the place I'm going to! Carespot is the perfect name for this Urgent Care Center as it is evident in every way that they truly care. This is rare in today's modern Healthcare, I say that as a patient and I say that as a healthcare worker of 27 years.

Purveena Doobay, PA was excellent. She was kind, friendly, and professional. Julie at the front desk was also very welcoming and friendly. One thing I did not like was the lack of patient privacy and confidentiality. I overheard one specific staff member asking patients various questions about why they came in while she was at the desk and they were sitting in the lobby chairs. At times during their conversation, I know if I were the patient I would’ve preferred to talk in private.

The people. Especially for my follow up. The front desk when I called to reschedule a missed appt, there was no snideness, just kindly helped. I had a HORRIBLE day (part of why I had to reschedule) and it was genuinely turned around with the kindness of the staff and especially doctor. The way she answered my questions in a way I could understand and patient with me as I tried to figure out what I was trying to say (head injury). She remembered me from my previous visit and noticed the positive change in my demeanor (which surprised me bc I felt like crap), commenting how that was a good sign of recovery. I really really appreciate the time she took with me on a day I really needed it. That interaction changed the trajectory of my evening and the following day. Thank you.

The only reason I’m not giving 5 stars is because I did not appreciate the front desk receptionist’s passive aggressive attitude. When I went to pay my copay with cash, Maria C. at the front desk sighed and made a comment along the lines of “oh well now I’ll have to go to the bank today.” I guess because they were short on change for cash payments. Not sure how that is my fault. That being said, everything else was great. The rest of the staff was kind and friendly and they were very quick to get me seen and out of there.

Wait was short and wasn't packed either. Got back quickly and I felt like everyone took their time talking to me and discussing things. Nothing felt rushed but in a good way. Time was spent with me and I felt like they did listen and pay attention to what I had to say.
